Desktop to Online
Hi. The company I work for mostly uses QB for payroll and Accounts Payable and I’ve been wondering if we should go to online since 2015 is being discontinued. I don’t think the way our state taxes and unemployment section is correct. I file through the State’s website, so I have a bunch of red warning symbols telling me that I need to file. My question is, if we go to online is there a way we can have someone fix what’s not set up right? It’s been set up this way for 3 years.
Based on what you have shared, it sounds like QuickBooks Online will work for you. However, I do recommend that you have the errors fixed before you convert to QuickBooks Online. You should hire a QuickBooks ProAdvisor to come in and fix the issues with your desktop file. For tips on how to find & locate a good ProAdvisor in your area, check out this article:
We also have an article on the steps you need to take to convert from desktop to online. You can find it here:https://fitsmallbusiness.com/convert-quickbooks-desktop-to-online/.
