First dropshipping deal.
I and my friend are planning to start dropshipping. This is my first business. Our contract is that I pay for everything and he does the rest of the work. He offered me 30% and himself 70%. Is it a good deal? Thank you for your help.
When you say “pay for everything”, is he referring to software and all business overhead, or just paying the product bills? Is the business incorporated? I would make sure you aren’t assuming too much liability for just 30% of the profit.
Running a Dropshipping business is not easy and requires a lot of work, it would be more fair 50% and 50% depending on the amount of work your colleague has, however if it turns out that it takes a lot of work to run the business, I think that a 30% is little.
