I enjoyed your article. What are good ‘generic’ aliases I can use for my main email with my domain name. For example, let’s say my domain is janedoe.com. You mention using info as an alias, which is good for a company, but feels a bit impersonal for my brand and site. I thought of the following examples:
email@example.com (this feels too repetitive)
firstname.lastname@example.org (feels too corporate)
None of these really have a great ring to them. Any other suggestions for creating a friendly alias with my domain name that feels generic, yet welcoming?
What a clever question.
Our business uses INFO@domainname.com.
I’ve also seen QUESTIONS@domainname.com
Consider who will be using the email address. Customers, potential employees, clients needing help with billing? That will help you choose. Here are some other examples.
Best wishes to you!
