Have the llc, ein and business account, what else do I need?
If I’m opening up a smoke shop and I’m not going to tear any walls apart or do any electrical beside plugging stuf into the outlets. Just adding glass display cases and shelfs. Is there any permitting I need?
It sounds as if you may be asking if you need a builders permit. It’s likely you won’t need this if you’re not changing the footprint, the structure or the electric. However, laws and building codes are different in each state, city, and town. It’s wise to check with your local city government office to ask them directly if a building permit is needed. If you don’t have a business license, you should inquire about that as well. Some states require minimal insurance before getting the business license. For insurance, take a look at our article on certificate of liability insurance. For various permits you may need, see this article on business licenses and permits.
I hope that helps!
