Hello, did you go to school for business administration or business management?
Does it matter whether it’s a business management or business administration degree if I am wanting to make investments by owning apartment complexes?
Thanks for your question – congratulations on deciding to enter real estate. Owning or managing multi-family real estate can be a great way to make a living. If this is a path that you’re thinking of pursuing you may want to study business administration. Alternatively, you may want to study finance to gain insight into how to structure real estate deals, attract investors, and manage your income and expenses. Some universities even have dedicated real estate programs that you may want to consider as a way to jumpstart your career. It can take a while to save up enough to buy your own properties, but you can always start off as a broker to learn the industry and get exposed to different deals.
Hope this helps. Best of luck.
