Hello! I am trying to decide which company to use for payroll.
We have narrowed down our search between Paylocity and Paycom. Both are good systems, but what we are looking for is something that is not modular based, and has a good record of being reliable. Response time is important as well. Cost is a factor, but not the end all. There are reviews but they are so close. Each one points the finger at the other and says they are worse.
I am familiar with Paycom and I love that system, but I do not know enough about Paylocity. I am not a fan of their web site.
Thanks for posting your question. Can you sign up for a free demo of both and run a mock payroll to see which meets your needs best? Otherwise, from what you’ve said, I’d recommend you stick with the one you’ve used since they’re both so similar. Why learn a new tool when you’re already happy with, and have experience with Paycom? Personally, I’m a huge fan of Gusto, but it sounds like Paycom may work best for you as it will minimize any learning curve you have.
