hiring candidate from postings…
There are a few job sites that charge a fee or percentage if you actually hire a person from the job posted. Iv heard it could be a percentage of the offered salary, does ZipRecruiter charge add’l fees like this??
ZipRecruiter charges a monthly fee in order post a certain number of job ads on their site. This model is similar to most job boards, many of which are free.
Most of the time, when you pay a fee upon hire, it’s because you’re working with a professional recruiter who does all the candidate sourcing work for you, such as writing the ad, screening and interviewing candidates and saving you time. They will have a website for you to view the data, but they’ll charge you a fee for hiring someone they’ve sourced.
If you have the time to post the job, review the applications and resumes, interview the candidate, write the offer and onboard the new hire yourself, you’re much better off using a job board, as you’ll only pay a monthly rate, or a fee for advertising the job, won’t be charged a fee (some can be as high as 30%) to a recruiting/staffing agency.
I’ve attached a few articles you can read for more info. Best!
