I find it a challenge to find quality caregivers for seniors for my small home care business. It is required that they pass background and drug tests, driving etc.
I am trying to think out of the box to locate potentially interested individuals including a “seniors helping seniors” kind of approach.
Any suggestions where to locate? My ideas are churches, senior centers, house keepers, hotel house keepers….

We’re having a nationwide shortage of caregivers due to our aging population and historically low pay. I think your ideas are great. As you’re out and about, and find nice, caring people, talk to them about the job opportunity and ask if they know anyone. Often your existing employees can refer friends and family as well. If you provide good pay, health benefits and perhaps flex hours (such as hiring more part timers) you may have more options. You might want to try using a free job posting website like Indeed.
