How can I edit the description I added in estimates? I wanted to add more
While you did not say it, I’m going to assume that you are using QuickBooks to create estimates. In general, you should be able to create detailed estimates in QuickBooks. You can even take an existing estimate template and customize it for your business. I have provided instructions below on how to do this.
However, if you are still having an issue, contact the tech support team at Intuit. If you are using QuickBooks Online, you get unlimited free tech support with your subscription. To access a tech person, just log into your account and click on the help menu. You should see a telephone number and a link to start a chat (if you prefer to do that).
To customize an Estimate template:
1. Click on the Gear icon located in the upper right hand corner of the QBO home page.
2. Click on Custom Form Styles (located under the Settings column)
3. Click on the New Style button in the upper right hand corner and select Estimate
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize this form to meet your needs
