I recently received the following question from a reader:
How would I start an email campaign to Healthcare professionals in a 3-4 county area. Cherokee, Fulton, Jasper, COBB GA. Doctors, smaller hospitals, Dentists, Chiropractors, wellness, orthopedics, Oncology, etc?
At what cost.? We provide Healthcare business financing and higher risk patient financing.
Here is my response:
We recommend MailChimp for small business email marketing because it is completely free and very easy to use.
Here are some important things to keep in mind when starting an email campaign:
1. Make sure the email is being sent from a professional email address (ex:firstname.lastname@example.org). This appears much more trustworthy to the people receiving the email.
2. Include information that your readers will actually find valuable. People don’t want to be spammed, so make sure the email doesn’t tempt subscribers to opt-out.
3. Track open and click through rates to see which emails are performing the best. Make sure you optimize so that you are following the practices that work best for you.
