How do we get reviewed in articles
We provide a variety of merchant services and am curious as to how we go about getting reviewed to make your top choice lists? I understand that it is pay to play, so if you can have someone contact me that would be great.
This is a good question. If you have a software product with a great reputation you can ask for a review (it’s free) of your product. We usually ask no more than that you link our review on your website home page. We do sometimes allow vendors to pay for (sponsor an article), but you are incorrect in saying that it’s pay to play. As a writer, we have complete editorial independence, and many of the products we recommend are ones that we have tested and reviewed ourselves — with no payment or vendor incentive. In fact, that goes against our values of providing the best tools, services and recommendations for small businesses that are often starting out and need advice. Lesser known vendors and products, and those that aren’t top notch don’t make it on to our site. We only want partners that are themselves great for small business. Your best option is to fill out the form on our reviews site. https://fitsmallbusiness.com/reviews/ (you have to scroll down and fill in the blanks.)
Or send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org attention to: BizDev.
