How Does Quick Books Payroll work?
I am new to Quick Books and to the payroll, Recently I and the ED of the non-profit I work for made a mistake and paid an employee 3 times in one day. So we contacted the bank and corrected the problem, had the direct deposit reversed and I thought all was well. Now Intuit has stopped, frozen our payroll until we wire them that same money. I am struggling to understand this. We need to pay our employees and I do not need to be out several hundred dollars – our bank account is good, How is Intuit involved in my bank account? So confused and very frustrated! So far no one on the phone has given me a good enough answer for me to wire money – I don’t understand to whom and they cannot answer!
