How does QuickBooks calculate hourly pay on default?
Hello community, I was curious when looking at this web page how QuickBook figures initially in hours or time? Do they format it easily like 40.30 as in 40 hours and 30 minutes or like 40.5 hours? Do you have to manually add it in as time typed out like 40:30 minutes to convert it for you or how do you figure payroll properly from worked hours I wish this was more clear looking at it. I do not see any settings on that page to make it easier for a user to pick formatting say as in time directly (4 hours and 15 minutes as 4:15) or in 15 minute increments of hours like 4.25, 4.5, or 4.75 which is purely the hour broken into segments and put in decimal form. I think there should be a simple added drop down menu to add or control setting setup on that page to manually change this easily and avoid any confusion in the payroll process for the person doing so.
