I need to make journal adjustments on several entries downloaded from the connected bank account.
If you have not added the banking transactions to QuickBooks (which means they are still sitting in the Banking Center) then you do not need to create a journal entry. Instead, just edit the account field to reflect the appropriate account the transaction should be coded to. For step by step instructions on how to do this, watch our How To Manage Downloaded Banking Transactions video tutorial.
If the transactions have already been added to QuickBooks (which means that they no longer appear in the Banking Center) then follow these steps to create a journal entry:
1. From your homepage in QBO, go to the upper right hand corner and click on the plus sign (+)
2. Right below the column that says Other you will see Journal Entry
3. Enter information for journal adjustment (debits should equal credits)
4. Save the journal entry
