Hi, I was a real estate agent in Pennsylvania, I suspended my license when I moved to Wisconsin. I am currently living in Hilton Head and would like to continue with real estate. What are my next steps?
Real estate licensure in South Carolina is regulated by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission (https://www.llr.sc.gov/POL/REC/index.asp?file=licensure.htm).
For real estate agents who are already licensed in another jurisdiction (and have been licensed within 6 months prior to the application), SC still requires you to apply for and take the SC portion of the real estate examination. As part of your examination application, you must also submit certification(s) of licensure from any jurisdiction(s) in which you have held licensure in the last 5 years.
The online examination application is available here: https://www.llr.sc.gov/POL/REC/index.asp?file=Instructions.htm

Best of luck!
