I am a new hair and skincare business-need free marketing, social media help
Can you provide some marketing tips for new entrepreneurs and some skincare holiday ideas to attract customers, I am really trying to get customers to my new webite but I do not have funds for marketing at this time. thanks… By the way, the products are amazing!
We have a full array of website, social media, and email marketing articles in our Marketing section, including many that cover free tactics. That should get you started down the path so you can grow your new company without spending too much, Good luck!
I actually have a client similar to this. I would recommend doing up some custom holiday limited packages, so for example, “Get a haircut, dye and a bottle of hairspray (or something) for $XXX.00 a $XXXX.00 value”.
If you want people to go to your website, remember where you’re leading to on your website, will they land specifically on the service that any posts/ads were about? Or will they land on the general page? Will this impact your conversion rate? Is your website user-friendly?
If you’re having a campaign on products, can they pay for the products online? Will you ship them?
Plenty of thins to give some thought to!
I found the marketing info Krista! Thanks
Thanks Krista and Beverly for the amazing info. Where is the marketing section to see the articles Krista? Thanks so much! I will use all info provided :-). Happy Thanksgiving
Hello Shena, to attract website visits and build your brand I would highly recommend using social media and blogging. For your business, Instagram and Facebook could be really effective. I recently wrote an article with a list of free marketing ideas that you might find helpful: https://squirrelsandbears.com/2018/08/05/20-free-marketing-ideas-for-small-businesses/
Good luck with your business!
Hi Shena — If you have a blog, you could create gift guides that feature your products (or services if you offer those too). So you could have a BFF gift guide, gifts for mom, gifts for him, etc. Include an engaging subhead for each product, a photo, a small blurb, and then a link to your site where they can purchase. Share the posts on social media and with email subscribers.
If you don’t have a blog, you can do somewhat of the same thing by creating multiple product collages. Canva is free and allows anyone to create quality designs without experience. Be sure to include a link when you share your collages on social media/email.
Both of these ideas are free — but will take a bit of time for you to create. The key to either idea working for you is making sure you’re taking the time to produce quality work.
