I am a real estate sales person licensed in NJ.. I have clients in KY and PA.
Can my real estate broker(employer) licensed in NJ, conduct as a co-broker with duly licensed real estate broker/s in KY and Pennsylvania? Since I have clients and have business deal pending to be done into sales purchase contract in those states right now..
How do I find if reciprocal state laws if are not present in KY and PA for NJ residents… what due course of action, that I as a real estate sales representative can take steps or not in regards to real estate activities in PA, KY and other states?
I have other brokers from KY and PA ready to co-broker with us. Please advise.. Tks..
Since Pennsylvania is a turf state, your broker will not be able to do a deal there remotely or in person. He can’t even cobroke a deal. In order to help your clients in Pennsylvania, you can find a good broker in Pennsylvania who would likely be happy to take your referral. Sites like refferal exchange are designed just for this.
Kentucky however is a cooperative state, so your broker will be able to co broke deals there as long as he is working with a licensed brokerage in Kentucky.
Hope that helps and best of luck.
