I work for a small business and I work holidays but they don’t pay me for working he holidays is hat illegal ???
The Fair Labor Standards act requires that employers pay you for all days worked. However, there’s no requirement for employers to pay for holiday time off. If you work on a holiday, you should be paid your regular pay rate. It’s up to an employer’s discretion to offer a vacation or holiday policy. No law requires them to do so.
