If the name of my business is long is it okay to use half of my business name as a domain name when creating a business email address?

That can be tricky for branding long-term. If you can co-market initials or a quippy shorter version, that’s usually best. Good luck!

I agree with Krista. If you shorten the name you have to make sure it will be memorable and that people will still associate that name with your business.

Even the domain name will be different from your full business name, you can use your business name in your website content so the SEO will pick it up in Google and other search engine searches.

You can use an SEO plugin to better associate your content with your domain. For example, if your website is built with WordPress, you can use the free version or YOAST SEO Plugin for this. It has a cool wizard to setup and send your business information automatically to search engines.
