I have in house mortgage and the guy is no longer in business. He sends me letters to send payments to a Post Office Box Address. Is this legal
A mortgage held by a private lender is just as valid as one held by a traditional bank. If you still owe money on the mortgage, and the lender is requesting that payments be sent to a different address, you are still liable for the payments until the loan is satisfied.
