In the chart above you show that the Amazon app works with a bluetooth scanner.
We purchased a Symcode scanner and it connect with our Android phone but not with the Amazon seller app. I contacted Amazon help and they said it would not work with Amazon Seller. Am I doing something wrong?
The chart covered both built-in scanners and Bluetooth options. Amazon Seller App has a built-in scanner that works from your phone, that’s why the box is checked. For brevity, we try to keep the charts at the top pretty short and combine things like scanning capabilities (overall) in one box, then detail the specifics in the review below.
The Amazon Seller app doesn’t connect to a Bluetooth scanner in my experience and additional research. But, I’ve always just used my phone with that app with good results. The other apps on our list do connect with Bluetooth scanners, as covered in the review details, and also give you results from other price comparison sites. If you’re scanning products in volumes that make a scanner a necessity, you’ll probably also benefit from the added information that the other apps provide. The volume arbitrage sellers that I know actually use both the Amazon seller app plus one of the two covered above in tandem to make sure every base is covered.
I hope this helps! Good luck.
