Invoiceing in US funds only
My business takes in only US funds and expenses are CA will QB allow me to costomize and reflect this aspect of my business? I use 3 bank accounts 2 US and one CA. I only make out 100 invoices per year.
This is a great question. Yes, QuickBooks Online and Desktop have a multi-currency feature that you can use to bill customers in their native currency as well as manage foreign bank accounts. However, it’s important that you have an expert set this up for you so that you know it is working properly. If you are using QuickBooks Online, you can get free assistance by contacting their support team via telephone or chat. Just log into your QBO account, go to the Help menu and you will see a contact phone number and a link to start a chat. Support is available Monday thru Friday and it is free to all businesses that use QuickBooks Online.
If you use QuickBooks Desktop, you can either contact support if you have a service agreement with them. Otherwise, I recommend hiring a QuickBooks ProAdvisor to assist. Check out our How To Find A QuickBooks ProAdvisor article to learn more about where to find one and what to look for.
