Mandatory Sick Leave in California
If a company’s headquarters (or where they are “based”) is in the state of Virginia, but they are operating businesses in the state of California, are the California employees eligible for the mandatory 24 hours of sick leave as outlined in the Healthy Workplaces, Health Families Act of 2014?
