New Amazon account
I am just getting started selling some old engineering books from a collection. Your article was very helpful. The question I have — should I use my existing prime account or should I create a new account as the individual seller? Haven’t seen this addressed anywhere. Thanks!
Amazon links your seller account and buyer account via your email. Once a seller account is linked to that account, it can’t be unlinked. Also, Amazon is very strict on the number of selling accounts you can have and really try to keep all sellers operating just one account. But, you can have as many buying accounts as you want. So, if you think that you might build this into a business at all down the line, I’d open a separate account and start your seller account there. That way, your personal account is always shielded from any issues that might arise in your buyer account. I hope this helps!
