New small Business owner Payroll question
I have 2 part time employees besides me as the owner…. 1 gets 20-30HRs (College Student), the other HS student 9-20hrs every 2weeks… I really would like a 3rd HS Student to help with work and balance schedule conflicts, would a fourth W2 employee effect me in anyway?
I talked to our payroll expert, and neither of us can think of any reason adding another staff member would cause an issue for your business. However, if you have specific concerns, about labor laws or taxes, it’s never a bad idea to speak to a payroll tax specialist in your area.
