How do I set up allowing a customer query via online messages directly linked to the invoice in QB online?
To my knowledge, the only way a customer can send you a message linked to an invoice in QuickBooks Online is if you have a merchant account and you email your customers their invoices it will include a payment link.Once they display that invoice, they can send you a message if they have a question regarding the invoice before paying it. If this is not what you are referring to, contact the customer support team to see if a feature like this has recently been released. You can do this by signing into your QBO account, click on the Help up in the upper right hand corner and a telephone # should display or an option to start a chat.
