Payroll in Quickbooks Online
I have been using Quickbooks online for a year now.
Me and two other parthers were totoal 3 staff in my company.
But now we started a new service for clients.
We have made annual renewable contracts with clients for cleaning services.
Our staff will be going daily to location of the client and doing their cleaning tasks.
Some clients are small but some are big health facilities. So number of staff will be 10 to 30 according to size of location.
I want to make payroll of these workers, grouped by location/client and according to their attendance on site.
Total number of staff might increase over 200 in one year and more in coming years.
How can i manage payroll of such large number of employee while i am using QuickBooksOnline ?
Hi Irfan, congratulations on your business growth! Going from 3 employees to more than 200 is huge! The level of detailed job costing that you want to track your employees by location and client is definitely do-able. However, if you need your employees to be able to clock in/out you might need to sign up for TSheets. Intuit (the maker of QuickBooks) just purchased them a few months back. TSheets allows workers to clock in/out from their mobile device and the program even has GPS so that you know their exact location when they clocked in. I recommend that you contact QuickBooks Payroll and let them know what you are looking for. The support team should be able to point you in the right direction. The best way to reach an Intuit Payroll support specialist is by logging into your Payroll account and go to the help menu. There should be a telephone number listed there just for payroll support customers.
Good luck to you!
