We are a pol. subdiv. of the state of MS not subject to SUTA do we pay FUTA?
This question was submitted in response to FUTA Tax & Form 940: What Employers Need to Know for 2017…
Unfortunately I am not familiar with pol. Subdivisions and their tax requirements. In general, most entities are subject to FUTA even if they are exempt from SUTA but again you may not be. I suggest you contact the IRS directly to find out what is required for your particular entity.
