This is a great article, do you know if any of these card options allow you to open up an account from a business account based out of country?
If you have a business based outside of the United States and want to open a prepaid business credit card, it will vary depending on the provider as well as what business interests you have inside the US. Whether you’ll approve will depend on the revenue and assets you have inside the United States as well as what (if any) risk you represent for the credit card company. For foreign businesses, this can include money laundering risks, although risks are obviously lower with prepaid cards.
If you’d like to learn more about prepaid cards and see some of the best providers that we’ve identified, be sure to check out our “best of” list here: https://fitsmallbusiness.com/best-business-prepaid-cards/. Once you’ve identified cards that are interesting for you, you can check with individual card companies to see whether they’ll issue you a card.
Hope this helps,
