Printing Original, Duplicate, Triplicate copies of Invoice
I was wondering how to print Original, Duplicate and Triplicate (with markings) of my invoice. I tried searching thru YouTube and I don’t have the options that I saw there. From the YouTube video, I saw that there was an option for Original, Original and Duplicate, etc. but in my version, I can’t find it. My version is Quickbooks Online version is the highest kind for your reference.
Also, I wanted to put a Received By text field for the customer’s signature. How do I do that? I tried using Footer but it messes up with the spacing of my Total Balance Field.
Hi Marvin, I am not familiar with a way to produce an original, duplicate and triplicate copies of invoices with the actual markings. Therefore, I recommend you contact the Intuit support team for assistance with that issue. I can help you get the signature line that you want on your invoices.
There are a couple of ways to get this one. First, you could add a custom field to your invoices. To do this, head over to the Company Settings, click on the Sales tab and within the Sales form content section there is an option to turn on custom fields and add them.
The other way to accomplish adding a signature line is by using the box located in the lower right hand corner invoice that says Message on invoice. Instead of including a message like “Thank you for your business”, you could instead type in “Sign here to accept the terms of this invoice” or whatever the message is that you want to convey.
Hope this helps.
