I am starting a small marketing/consulting business to help other local small businesses develop an internet presence. Many of my potential clients do not have websites, or their existing sites are never used and often out dated. Most of my clients are auto repair shops who want to drive consumers to their location. I would like to offer them a site where customers can leave testimonials, set appointments, and read blogs which i will produce and post for them. I would also like to set up a social media network for their business and was wondering if that network could be interactive with the website? I have never created a website, given these factors what platform would you suggest, which would be a good option for me to use when helping my clients?
Thank you in advance for your response.

We recommend Weebly for users who have never built a website before. Using Weebly, you will be able to post testimonials, have a blog, and include social media icons on the website that will link to their social media pages. There is next to no learning curve as Weebly is a drag and drop builder and therefore very easy to use.
You will also be able to have customers scheudle appointments by using one of Weebly’s third party apps.
You can read more about why we recommend Weebly in our buyer’s guide.
If you feel like you can handle a more advanced option, then WordPress is the way to go. It’s less expensive and more customizable. However, since you are just starting out I think Weebly is your best bet.
Hope this helps!
