I currently use Quickbooks online for accounting and sales receipts as well as inventory tracking. I take credit card payments through Square and have the app to sync Square payments into QBO. I am considering Quickbooks POS, as it would add better receipts and customer data. I don’t want to have to use intuit for credit card processing though. If I use Quickbooks POS, can I still use square for credit card processing?
Also, I wanted to add that I am also looking at Stitch to work with quickbooks and Square register, but it seems very pricey — it appears that it’s 199 a month minimum, which is pretty costly for my volume currently.
If you want to use Quickbook POS, you can use a variety of other processors (including Quickboooks), but Square is not one of them. Square is a proprietary platform, meaning that they only use their processing if you are using their POS.
StitchLabs is a sweet solution for connecting inventory systems. But, it is pricey. What kind of volume are you doing?
