I have a real estate Broker licensed in MA. I have a client that wants to buy in RI. Can I represent my client in RI? The Brokerage I’m signed up with is also licensed in MA.
Hi Maureen –
If you are licensed in Massachusetts, that is the limit to where you can practice. However, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a solid referral to another broker and collect a commission based on that referral when the client closes. Here is our article on real estate referrals and how they operate. Hope this can give you some additional insight!
