I heard the SBA Express loan limit went up from a max of 350K to $1M. However I can’t find anything online to back that up. Not even on the sba.gov site, which doesn’t surprise me, they never update info or forms on there. Argh.
Any information you can share or provide, will be greatly appreciated.
I’m not sure where that information came from but it does not appear to be true. The Express Loans are meant for smaller financing amounts and the $350k limit already has the ability to service the majority of SBA loan applications regardless, so increasing the amount to $1 million wouldn’t really make sense with the current efforts of the SBA.
It’s my experience that the district offices of the SBA appear to have the most up to date information that you can access through reaching out to them directly. I would encourage you to reach out to your local office and see how they can help your situation. Good luck!
