Thank you for the article. You say it is easy to set up the payment option on a website… Maybe it is so for those who are in the USA because all payment sites are dedicated for people from this country. I am in Europe and for me personally, it is a nightmare for the second month. I cannot use Square at all – it is for US only. I want to use Paypal and open its business account but Paypal doesn’t allow my customers to pay directly by card – it requires them to open PayPal accounts first. As you understand – I lose many potential customers because of that.
Last week I was looking for a service that would allow me to send batch invoices importing xls or csv files. And PayPal has that option but I cannot include a possibility to leave me tips (in batch PayPal option) plus I cannot combine two orders in one invoice using their batch option. All these functions work only when you edit ONE invoice…
So… can you help me to find such working service?
1 ReplyBeing US-based, I’m not fully versed in the Square-like payment options available overseas. However, Square is moving into Europe, it’s in the UK, so depending on your location, it may soon be available to you and it does have a more advanced invoicing system than PayPal when it comes to tips, downloads, etc.
But, you might want to see what Stripe offers, it handles credit card processing for European-based ecommerce companies. It has a very robust API, so you might be able to integrate it into an invoicing system that delivers all of the payments points you need. Here is a quick overview of Stripe’s European credit card processing services to see if that might answer your need. I hope this helps! Cheers, Krista
