I am a semi retired therapist. TO work PT at real estate can I use my own office
and will I be able to find flexible hours at a brokerage to train?
Im in CA
As long as your local zoning allows a home office then I see no reason why you couldn’t technically work out of your office. As far as meeting clients goes, I would think that most brokerages would want you to use their offices.
Most should be okay with you working part time as long as you can devote 20 hours a week or more. My suggestion for you starting out would be to join a team. You will make a bit less money, but you will have instant clients and can learn from the best.
BTW, in my opinion you have an absolutely PERFECT professional background to succeed as an agent! One of the most successful agents I know started as a social worker. Empathy is a huge, huge, part of winning over clients.
