Do I separate amount paid to vendor for labor vs equipment rental
Our company hires videographers. Sometimes, the invoices will show a line for camera package rental and another line for labor. Do both amounts go in box 7 of the 1099? Or do I need to show the camera package rental in box 1?
And does it matter if the camera package rental charge is for the equipment owned by the contractor vs equipment the contractor rented for the job.

Hi Kathleen! This is a great question. I did a little research and I have come to the conclusion that you should split up the equipment rental from the labor. With that said, I would include equipment rental in box 1 and the labor in box 7.
