Should I notify possible heirs that I bought their Alabama tax deed property?
I exchanged a tax lien certificate for the Alabama state deed and have taken possession of a property that has been empty for 5 years. It is not in liveable condition and will need extensive repair. How should possible heirs be informed there is a new owner? I plan to only make necessary repairs for the next 3 years until a quiet title can be filed.
