Small business owner of hair products
I read your article https://fitsmallbusiness.com/amazon-seller-fees/
I started a brand with hair products which include 3 products thus far. Would Amazon be a good fit for me? I would like to sell as an individual being I’m just starting out and not sure how many units I will sell per month…hopefully, can switch to Professional quickly. I’m interested in hearing your advice. I am not computer/tech savvy, so please speak as if I were a kindergartner learning my colors. lol
I appreciate your time and expertise!
Renee Raman Have a beautiful day!
If you have your brand trademarked, selling on Amazon could be a good option. (Your brand needs to be trademarked to sell on Amazon). I would recommend selling through a few different places to see what works best for you. As a new business starting out, it could be hard to get exposure on Amazon since there are so many competing brands. I would also set up your own online store and advertise that as well. If you use an ecommerce platform like Shopify or BigCommerce you can manage your Amazon and other sales all from the same place. So, my advice would be yes, try selling on Amazon, but don’t rely on it exclusively.
Hope this is helpful!
Good luck with your hair product brand.
