Sourcing talent w experience in the Si-industry, including IC design engineers
Are you aware of job-boards that are particularly strong when it comes to finding talent that has experience in the Semiconductor industry (including integrated-circuit design engineers and other people with experience manufacturing semiconductor components)?
My default is to look to Indeed and LinkedIn, but if you have other suggestions you can share that are specific to full-time people working in the semiconductor industry, that would be much appreciated.
Thanks for posting your question.
You might want to try Ladders (tends to have higher-level industry experts) and Glassdoor (where you can search for individuals who have worked a particular manufacturing firm similar to yours). There’s also a site called Scouted (scouted.io) that only lists high-scoring college students. Another option is to look to industry groups like https://www.semiconductors.org/ or https://www.linkedin.com/company/semiconductor-industry-association (<-- this one is a LinkedIn group -- if you upgrade to LinkedIn premium, you can reach out to potential hires using LinkedIn's InMail feature.I also think it's great to post on an industry group that you're looking for someone (you can paste a link to the job opening on Indeed, but market the job opening, or search for candidates on LinkedIn), or simply ask group members if they know of anyone looking for this type of work.Best!
