In Desktop you could call up an historical invoice and while it was displayed on the screen you could use a shortcut to immediately call up the Journal Entry for just that invoice.
Is there a similar shortcut in QBO or QBO for accountants?
Thank you, I appreciate the course.
Hello Trent Home Lodge!
So glad you like our free QuickBooks course. Yes, there is a way for you to see the journal that QuickBooks records behind the scenes in QuickBooks Online. It doesn’t work like QuickBooks desktop with a keyboard shortcut but it still accomplished your goal. For example, if you display an invoice or bill that was previously recorded in QuickBooks, you should see a tab at the very bottom of the screen that says “More”(it should be to the right of the Customize tab). Click on that button and select “Transaction Journal”.
All the Best-
