We have been ask to collaborate on a project using slack.
A client of ours who has Slack want our consultants to use Slack as part of the project. I have some questions. Do we need to subscribe to Slack to do this as a company, or does our client send us invitations to join their project on Slack and we will be invited to use their subscription.
Thank you for your questions. Clients have the option to add you to their Slack channels. You can also set up your own Slack channels for your team through your own Slack account. Slack for Teams offers a free option and two paid plans: Standard ($8/user/month) and Plus ($15/user/month). The main differences between the plans include the number of accessible recent messages, storage size, and access to premium features such as unlimited message search, unlimited apps, and guaranteed uptime. Ultimately, you may want to obtain further clarification from the client.
