Thank you so much for all the helpful information you have provided on this website. I am in need of some advice. My husband and I have a small business. It is a service business only (forestry and related, not sure how much info you need but I can provide more if needed) and we do not sell anything. The majority of our business comes from word-of-mouth, as we do not really advertise very much. We both have full-time jobs and our business is separate from our jobs (so not a lot of free time for website building). We are wanting to build a good, basic website for our business to serve several purposes, as I’m sure most small businesses like ours do. Of course we want to advertise, but also, provide information regarding our services, maybe show some photos of our work, and make it easy to contact us with questions regarding our business and services. We would want our website to come up on search engine results also. I’m sure there’s more but that’s the basics, we don’t need a lot of “bells and whistles.” We have a logo I created several years ago that we use on our T-shirts, business cards, etc. It is a hand-drawn logo that we have available to use for our website and that is basically the only thing we want “customized” if that makes sense. I am fairly good with computers but am a complete novice regarding website building. My husband started working with sitebuilder but I am not very pleased with it and we haven’t finished the site yet. Could you please recommend a good website builder that would suit our business needs? If you need any more information, please let me know. Thank you.July 4, 2016 at 2:53 pm #49090
Honestly, for just an informational website like you are talking about, Weebly would be a great choice. They are easy-to-use, affordable, and have some quality templates.
In fact, we have an article that walks you through how to build a Weebly site step-by-step. Click here to check it out.
Hope that helps!
