One of my friends is going to open a restaurant, he wants to know what are the main concern facing by existing restaurant owners? It would help him to plan future things accordingly.
Most people opening a restaurant usually have experience with cooking and working in a restaurant. So, things like menu and inventory management and staffing are usually handled pretty well. One of the biggest challenges is usually marketing the restaurant and getting customers in the door. New restaurant owners should have a website and strong social media presence well before opening and get active in the community. Host a big opening event to draw lots of attention to the business. Be sure to invite local press, the local Chamber of Commerce, and advertise online.
