What Crowd Funding company would be best for our Real Estate Development Company
We have bought a 10 acre property and have initial approval to build 32 duplexes. We are projecting a profit of $50,000 per unit and have them built out over the next 5 years. Roads and infrastructure need to be done to create the lots. Civil Engineering is 50% done. There is opportunity to retain some of the units for rental income.
Have you sought outside investors? Can you pre-sell units? How much do you need to raise? If you Google “crowdfunding for real estate” there are 27M hits. Fundrise is near the top. I’m not familiar with them to give you an honest review.
Melanie asks some very good questions, and she’s right to point out that you have a ton of options. Not every real estate crowdfunding site is right for every situation. You might want to look at our ultimate guide for real estate crowding sites. Fundrise is at the top of the list, but you should probably do some research on the other choices.
