A reader recently reached out to us after reading our Website Builder Buyer’s Guide, with the following question:
“I read and bookmarked your comparisons of Weebly, Wix, and WordPress. I am NOT tech savvy at all. I am NOT a small business. I am someone who writes short stories and am slowly considering .. hesitantly.. putting them in some sort of blog perhaps online. What might you suggest for someone seeking some exposure, not necessarily out to make a dollar? I’ve sent stories out to publishers, but I’m thinking that, maybe, I’d like to try my own blog. However, I’m very skeptical and cautious.”
Here is my response:
I think you should give blogging a try! Weebly and Wix are both completely free to use (though you won’t get a custom domain name), so there’s no risk in trying it out.
Both website builders are really easy to use, so you should be able to create an online blog even though you don’t consider yourself tech savvy.
Good luck with everything!
