I’ve been in business at a mercantile for the past 4 yrs and have been using Excel to manage my inventory – manually entering all items, manually entering all sales in a series of spreadsheets. I’ve got well over 5000 unique items and the mercantile cashiers forget to put my code on at least half the items so I spend hours looking up where the item comes from to track it. Also, the mercantile doesn’t use an automated method to give us our sales list. I need serious help esp since I want to start selling on Amazon. Thanks!
There are plenty of great inventory software programs that integrate with Amazon and Amazon FBA — these help you track inventory across Amazon, other websites, and in-store sales, plus help you manage purchasing, forecasting, COGS, and much more. Here are some to try: InventoryLab, Skubana, Ordoro, SellBrite, StitchLabs, Trade Gecko. There are more on the market, but any one of these can handle your SKU counts and connect you to Amazon and any other sales channels you use. I hope this helps. Good luck!
