what store WEb site to use
I’ve been reading and reading I only want to do this once, it’s a bit confusing, even though a sole proprietor, we have a few business names, however they are entrepreneurship businesses.
One is called groovy poo ( WKP compost) it is a soil amendment product that I make and sell in bulk locally or bag. we tried a web site (grooovypoo.com) though Vist sprint several years ago and never sold a thing off of it. (still active)
We are now also starting an organic beef project. raising our own beef and going to have it packed under our WKP cattle name. maybe a few processed products but mostly just organic beef in general.
Wondering if I could or should combine the two and sell under one web site? mainly I’m wondering what web site builder to go with!!! again I want to do this once and would like some exposure to see if it will fly or not.
It is important to me to get discount shipping to keep prices down as some of our products are heavy enough the consumer cannot afford to buy them due to shipping, I got set up with pay pal for accepting credit cards online when doing the vista print deal. but no exposure. we also set up groovy poo with amazon but never sold anything through there. ( mostly due to the freight and the cost we had to put on it to offset amazon and the freight) I don’t want to get knickled and dimed to death on transaction and credit card fees so I want to be conscious about that too. with these circumstances… any suggestions on what to do or where to go to make a web site with the store? I’ve started looking at square space then Wix, and Shopify and fulfillment by amazon, Weebly, and good e-commerce and weekly and go dady … etc. need to know what to do was leaning to Shopify but not sure about the selling fees. wondering if I can sell cheaper thorough my own web site? but may not get exposure as I have already experienced? I cannot get my meat label until I get the web site address and I’m needing to keep going with the project!! any suggestions???
