What type of lawyer would handle foreclosures where I hold the tax lien?
Recently I have received court papers for default judgements on 2 separate property’s where my late husband holds a tax lien and is listed as a defendant. I can’t find anyone who can help me navigate through the red tape and advise me of all my options that are available to me . Previously it was just submitting a voucher claim to receive my investment with interest but now I don’t want to loose any opportunities but don’t know who to speak with even after researching area tax companies and speaking with treasury I am lost with time running out to make a move or decision without looking my money please help
Thanks for visiting our site and posting on the forum. I’m so sorry for your loss and that you’re going through such a difficult time. I would recommend working with a real estate attorney in your area. A local real estate brokerage or a title company should be able to give you a referral. I hope you get the situation worked out. Wishing you all the best.
