We are actually using a something called SRT(single review tool) to work remotely from all over the World. It is a software that runs like Facebook where you can Collaborate, Discuss and Work all in the same system without the need to download any large files. Just Login to your workspace and get started. It is actually pretty exciting, although I have only been using it for 3 months, It makes my job a whole lot easier.
I think my game-changing tool is monday. It’s a team management software that works very similarly to Asana, but is so much more intuitive and allows for crazy amounts of customization. I’ve been using it as a Project Manager with a client and he’s extremely impressed by the software and enjoys being able to mark tasks completed, likes being able to change the priority on tasks, etc. I would highly recommend monday to any PM who needs a task list that can also gather and organize emails, share private boards with clients, and more.
I actually have 2 software that come to mind. One is software we’ve been using for several years now and one we’ve just started using. Unbounce has been a game-changer for us. It makes it easy to design niche landing pages for every stage of our marketing funnel, and it’s so affordable. We’ve just started using Advocately and we’re already so impressed. They basically take the review generation task off of our plates. They’ve automated the whole process and now it’s something we don’t even need to think about anymore.
Tableau Software has been a game changer for me. As more and more different data sources become available we needed a way to better create monthly reports. Excel is very basic and time consuming to create anything reasonably professional looking. Tableau, on the other hand, has allowed is to create professional looking data visualizations and quickly analyze trends from data that we download from various websites or receive though flat files.
I’d say Asana. Though I started using it in 2017, it became more useful in 2018 as I started utilizing interns. It’s awesome (and free!), and so easy to use. Plus, it let’s me assign tasks to my interns, add attachments, and chat about assignments. And I have a separate area they can’t see, so it allows me to have all my own stuff in one place as well. It’s terrific!
